What would be your favourite Christmas Present?

Smartphone

Greetings all, yes, it's that time of year again, the one the kids love and the adults are divided as Christmas is a special time but it can also be an expensive time and also baffling if you don't know what to buy for a loved one.  But hey, i'm going to try to make it a bit easier for you, I hope I can help you in some way or another.
For my first blog I'm going to review a few smart phones as I know the majority of people will buy a new phone for either a spouse/partner or the children.  Kids are moving with the times and their ideas off a Christmas prezzie is a new phone or new computer or computer games - all very expensive. Right!!!

My 1st blog is about smart phones, giving you an insight to a few off the best buys if/when you decide to purchase one. So, lets get started, and maybe when you've finished reading this you will be able to go and pick out the right mobile phone for you.

The best mobile phone deals used to be hard to find - but not anymore.  If your choosing a new handset, below I have researched all the latest mobile phones to help you compare the ones you'll find in the shops.  Below I'm going to reveal  the 5 best Smartphones to buy this autumn priced from £230 - £570.

                                               Apple iPhone 4   £480  (16GB) / £570  (32GB)

Pros : The iPhone 4 is an amazing piece of technology.  The new 960x640 pixel display has four times more pixels than the iPhone 3GS's screen and images and the videos are incredibly sharp.  The phone is simple to use - no manual required - and the 3.5in capacitive touchscreen is ultra responsive.
Battery life is better than on the iPhone 3GS and theres an improved 5Mp camera (up from the 3Mp) with an LED flash.  This can also shoot HD video and theres a rear-facing camera for making video calls using Apple's 'FaceTime' feature.  The web browser and music player are also outstanding.  The phone runs on Apple's new OS4 operating system which enables you to run several applications at once.

Cons : The iPhone can lose reception if held the wrong way (with your hand covering the bottom left hand corner).  Although you can solve the problem by adding a case, you shouldn't have to, given the hefty price of the phone.

A lot off positives on this one with one real negative should you consider purchasing the iPhone 4.
